Summer Engagement Contest
We were tasked with creating a campaign in two phases that would entice the public to interact with the brand online. For the first phase, we asked their social media following to send a slow-mo gif or video of their take on an "easy summer at home". The entries were then selected for UGC use. The prize for submitting was an all-expenses-paid getaway to Maker's Mark Distillery. Visually, we decided to approach a local artist, @smellby, to create a custom piece full of vibrant colors and animated "slow" graphics. We also created our own slow-mo video for social. We connected with some cool locals to film a spot all around skate vibes. We took this beautiful footage and added some handdrawn elements from Shelby's artwork to tie the two phases together and literally slowed down the footage.
For the second phase, we put the focus on the distillery itself. We created a second video series showing an alternative take on a slow summer from Star Hill Farm.

We successfully crafted an entire suite of assets that was giving easy, laid back summer. The result was receiving great impressions on social as well as heavy traffic on our custom landing page. The artwork and video created for this campaign gave the brand great content for continued use.
